School Workshops

Are you a teacher looking to bring the natural world alive for your students?

Early Years

Interactive lessons often based on my series of children's books: designed to teach simple ecological principles and horticulture skills through games, songs and sensory activities.

Older Children

Engaging lessons designed to help pupils explore ecological and horticultural principles in depth through enjoyable activities and experiments.

Engaging Activities

Sessions are carefully designed to feel more like play than a lesson.

Lessons are tailored to your school's needs, are encouraged to include practical sessions to increase biodiversity on site if appropriate.

I aim to support students to discover the natural world for themselves, laying the foundation for a lifelong love of nature.

National Curriculum

The topics covered include national curriculum targets as well as supplementary material.

Materials Provided

Detailed lesson plans, additional resources for continued learning, and a summary of the visit for parents emailed afterwards.

Full day: £250
Half day / Assembly: £150

Example Topics for Every Month of the Year

“This is my son’s favourite book, it is a wonderful introduction to nature for young children which is so important. And the fact that it features a dinosaur on every page is an added bonus! A must have for your little ones library collection.”
