I grew up in rural Yorkshire, the son of a pair of professional horticulturalists and wildlife enthusiasts. In 2022 I decided to divert from my career in special needs education to study a master’s degree in Land and Ecological Restoration at the Eden Project in Cornwall.

During my degree I realised that the most valuable contribution I could make would be to use my experience in education to help people get practically involved in restoring our environment - and where better to start than on your own doorstep? My goal is to spark curiosity and inspire people to develop a lifelong and mutually restorative relationship with the natural world.
